The Browns fell to 3-11 with a loss to the Chiefs on Sunday as the likelihood of Kevin Stefanksi’s side earning another win over the remaining three weeks continues to dwindle.
With Jameis Winston throwing three more interceptions, you can hardly blame Browns fans for looking ahead to next April’s draft with most of the fun sucked out of another forgettable season.
After the Raiders lost to the Falcons on Monday night, the Browns would be the seventh team on the clock if the season ended today – although there’s still plenty left to play out between now and early January.

With this Thursday’s game against the Bengals flexed to Sunday afternoon, the Browns will have a few extra days to prepare for the same Cincinnati team that handed them a 21-14 loss in Week 7.
The rest of the season sees the Browns host the Dolphins, before a tough game in Baltimore in Week 18 – one that could go a long way to determining the winner of the AFC North.
According to Tankathon, the Browns have the 18th toughest remaining schedule, while it’s worth noting the Patriots, who currently hold the No. 3 pick, have the hardest with games against the Bills (twice) and Chargers remaining.
It doesn’t help that the Browns have handed two wins to teams currently above them in the draft order – those being the Raiders and Giants, who are both fighting it out for the first overall pick at 2-12.
With uncertainty at the quarterback position and Nick Chubb done for the season, however, don’t discount the Browns from going full tank mode over the final month with the door still open to slide up the order.
