The 2025 UEFA Champions League final pits title-starved Paris Saint-Germain against Italian giants Inter Milan as the two battle for European supremacy in Munich on Saturday.
PSG’s Qatari ownership group has searched for years for the club’s first UCL crown, a hunger only exacerbated by the club’s loss in the 2020 Champions League final to Bayern Munich, reminded of that near-miss by the venue of today’s title match.
Inter, meanwhile, are looking to prove they can return to the summit of European glory for the first time since Jose Mourinho’s treble in 2010, an achievement which is often linked closer to the famous manager than the club.
Indeed, winning this year’s competition would not only give the club its fourth continental crown but also give Simone Inzaghi the respect and notoriety he has deserved as one of the world’s best managers.

PSG vs. Inter Milan lineups: Latest team news for Champions League final
The biggest question for PSG boss Luis Enrique is who to deploy along the front line, as he boasts four attacking players all having world-class seasons. With Ballon d’Or candidate Ousmane Dembele back to full fitness after a slight muscle issue in the semifinals, he must select who to play on either side of the France international.
Winter signing Khvicha Kvaratskhelia is sure to start on the left, leaving it between Desire Doue and Bradley Barcola on the right overlapping into the middle when Dembele wishes to track out wide. The Spaniard has handed the start to Doue on most occasions recently, and he’s likely to do so here as well.
The only fitness concern for PSG is that of oft-injured Presnel Kimpembe, who has fallen down the defensive depth chart anyways. The rest of the club’s starting lineup is easy to predict barring any issues which crop up in training between now and the start of the final.
PSG projected starting lineup (4-3-3): Donnarumma (GK) — Hakimi, Marquinhos, Pacho, Mendes — Neves, Vitinha, F. Ruiz — Doue, Dembele, Kvaratskhelia.

Inter have three players who have all worked to prove fit for this match, and it’s possible that all three of them are available for selection.
Defender Yann Bisseck was withdrawn on the hour mark of Inter’s final Serie A match against Como, and while Simone Inzaghi confirmed that he felt something in his knee, the consensus seems to be that he will prove fit for a starting role. If he cannot go, it would likely be Stefan de Vrij or Carlos Augusto to step in along the back line.
Also hoping to be fit are defender Benjamin Pavard and midfielder Piotr Zielinski. Pavard has missed each of the last four games with an ankle issue, but may recover in time to give Inzaghi options, while Zielinski is thought likely to be available as a substitute as well despite a calf problem.
Inter Milan projected starting lineup (3-5-2): Sommer (GK) — Bisseck, Acerbi, Bastoni — Dumfries, Barella, Calhanoglu, Mkhitaryan, Dimarco — L. Martinez, Thuram.
