Play at the 125th iteration of the U.S. Open Championship begins on Thursday, June 12 from Oakmont Country Club in Oakmont, Pennsylvania.
The world’s best golfers will vie for the title across the four-day event, which constitutes the third major golf championship of the year.
Bryson DeChambeau rallied to win last year’s U.S. Open at Pinehurst. DeChambeau, the 10th-ranked player on the PGA Tour, will look to become the first repeat winner since Brooks Koepka in 2017-18. A win at Oakmont would also make DeChambeau the seventh golfer to win the U.S. Open at least three times.
Rory McIlroy eyes redemption after ceding the late advantage to DeChambeau in the 2024 U.S. Open. McIlroy, the second-ranked golfer on the PGA Tour, is off to a sensational start in 2025 with wins at The Players Championship and the Masters.
And don’t overlook World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler, the only player ranked above McIlroy. Scheffler took the PGA Championship in May by a five-stroke margin, then won the Memorial two weeks later.
Here’s everything that you need to know about watching the 2025 U.S. Open, including TV and live stream information for every day of the event.
