The Kelce brothers got surprisingly candid about their early love lives, all while sitting right next to their mom, Donna Kelce.
For the latest episode of the Kelce brothers podcast, “New Heights,” which dropped May 7, Mama Kelce made her third appearance on the show as part of a special Mother’s Day edition. And not only did she offer up some advice about relationships — we also got a little insight into the brother’s past dating lives.
When Donna was asked by Jason if she liked any of the girls they dated in college, Donna responded, “You didn’t really bring a lot of ladies home.”
“Yeah no, we got it mom ok,” Travis responded in a funny – slightly embarrassed tone
She went on to say: “You dated, but I didn’t know any of them. So same thing with Trav … I knew nothing of anybody that you guys were dating in college. You told me zero.”
“What? I didn’t have any girlfriends,” Travis interjected.
Jason, who has been happily married to Kylie McDevitt (now Kylie Kelce) since 2018, didn’t sugarcoat his own past.
“I had absolutely zero game and I looked like an overweight Oompa Loompa,” he said. “That’s why I didn’t have any girlfriends… I just sucked at talking to women.”
In a show of support, Travis, who is currently dating music superstar Taylor Swift, responded, “You’ve always been the coolest kid.”
The trio also shared advice for a mom who called in asking whether her 17-year-old son should follow his girlfriend to college.
Travis didn’t hesitate to share his thought on the matter.
“I don’t think anybody should go to college to follow somebody else,” he said. “They should go for the values that are best for them.”
“100 percent,” Jason agreed.
Donna added a mother’s perspective.
“If you’re going to do the same thing and go to a college and have the same friends around you, you’re never going to have any growth,” she said. “You have to figure things out on your own… You kind of fail, and then you win.”
