Tottenham fans are waiting anxiously for news as exclusive reports from Football Insider suggest the club are ready to sack Ange Postecoglou despite the Australian guiding the Lillywhites to the Europa League title.
It was a historic third UEFA Cup/Europa League trophy for Spurs as Postecoglou dragged the club to their first silverware for 17 long years.
As per multiple reports, the Tottenham hierarchy want the emotions of winning the Europa League to settle, before making a crucial call – which could come in the next few days.
Pressure on Postecoglou boils down to Tottenham’s disastrous Premier League campaign, where they finished 17th in the final rankings, with unwanted record of 22 defeats and 65 goals conceded.
Tottenham have reportedly have zeroed in on two EPL managers – Brentford’s Thomas Frank and Fulham’s Marco Silva – as candidates to take over from Postecoglou.
Inter Milan manager Simone Inzaghi is also reportedly in the race, after the Italian suffered his second defeat in a Champions League final, as the Nerazzurri were hammered 5-0 by PSG on May 31.

Who is leading the race for the Tottenham job?
As per reports from Sacha Tavolieri, Frank is the leading option for Spurs, but he doesn’t rule out Silva, who is still in the race.
Frank’s contract at Brentford have a release clause, something which Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy is reportedly hesitant to pay, and that could prove crucial in their interest over bringing the 51-year-old to North London.
The task ahead of Postecoglou – and his possible replacement – is huge, with 2024/25 registering as Spurs’ lowest finish in the English top flight in 48 years.. It was also their lowest points accumulation in the Premier League era since 1997/98.
