The Tennessee Titans have a question mark at the running back position in Week 15, as Tony Pollard is not guaranteed to play against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Pollard is on the injury report this week with a ankle issue and didn’t practice over the first two days of the week. However, the veteran running back was able to turn in a limited session on Friday before drawing a questionable tag.
We’ve seen Pollard practice less in a week and play, something he did in Week 9, when he didn’t practice at all and went on to tally 31 touches for 154 yards from scrimmage against the New England Patriots.
But that was that week and this is this week. Here’s what we know about Pollard’s status for Week 15, the same week many fantasy owners are starting their playoffs.
Tony Pollard injury update
Despite the questionable tag, Pollard is indeed expected to play in Week 15 against the Bengals, according to AtoZ Sports Nashville’s Easton Freeze.
On some injured Titans:
RB Tony Pollard (ankle) should be good to go tomorrow vs. Bengals.
Much less optimism for CB Roger McCreary (shoulder) and LB Otis Reese (ankle), though they’ll workout in the morning for a final ruling.

Now, for a little start or sit advice for fantasy football managers who have Pollard on their roster.
Fantasy start or sit Week 15: Tony Pollard
Pollard continues to dominate the touches in Tennessee’s backfield, and as has been the case for weeks now, Pollard is a borderline RB2 play and should be in lineups every week.
In Week 15, he draws a fairly favorable matchup against a Bengals defense that is a middle-of-the-road unit in fantasy points per game given up to running backs. Cincinnati is also giving up the seventh-most touchdowns per contest to the position and ranks as a bottom-10 run defense.
Verdict: Start Pollard
