On Tuesday, Woods announced he suffered a new injury, and this one will keep hime out for the foreseeable future. Woods had just finished the first season of TGL and was preparing for major season, which begins with The Masters in a month.

Woods announced on social media that he ruptured his left Achilles while training and practicing at his home.
The golfer had surgery on Tuesday morning, which Woods described as a “minimally-invasive Achilles tendon repair,” and he is expected to make a full recovery.
“I am back home now and plan to focus on my recovery and rehab,” Woods said in his statement. “Than you all for the support.”

Woods will likely miss all four majors this season and will not return to action until 2026.
