This hypothetical deal would send LeBron James, along with his son Bronny James, to the Oklahoma City Thunder while giving the Lakers a collection of solid role players and valuable draft picks to pair with Luka Dončić.
Hartenstein solves the Lakers’ problems in the frontcourt, giving them the center they desperately need, while Wiggins and Kenrich Williams would bring versatility and depth.
James, who is entering his 23rd season, recently opted into his $52.6 million player option for the 2025-26 season. Even at the age of 40, James continues to defy Father Time. Last season he averaged 24.4 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 8.2 assists on 51% shooting from the field.
While it’s clear that the Thunder do not need to shake their roster drastically, the idea of pairing LeBron James with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Chet Holmgren, and Jalen Williams should be hard to pass on.
