The game of basketball changed forever when Steph Curry entered the NBA.
The Ohio-born athlete was famously drafted by the Golden State Warriors in 2009 and has been the face of the franchise ever since. His list of accomplishments in that time includes winning four NBA Championships (2015, 2017, 2018, 2022), two league MVPs (2015, 2016) and being voted an All-Star team 11 times. On top of that, he won a gold medal in the 2024 Paris Olympics as a member of Team USA.
Curry’s success on the court is only matched by the large sums of money he made doing it all. But where does his wealth stand overall?
According to Celebrity Net Worth, Curry is estimated to be worth $240 million. These massive earnings come from his multiple lucrative NBA contracts that total over $1 billion in his 16 seasons in the league. His latest deal with the Warriors was signed in the summer of 2024, a one-year contract worth $62.5 million.
Endorsements also played a huge role in Curry’s financial empire. He has sponsorship deals with JPMorgan Chase, Infiniti, Rakuten, and of course Under Armour, where he has his own brand referred to as the “Curry Brand.” This lifetime partnership is estimated to be worth $215 million on its own. In 2024, Curry was named the highest-paid athlete in the world for endorsements, even over LeBron James.
The 2024-2025 Warriors are currently in sixth place in the Western Conference, which means they are most likely headed to the playoffs. Curry’s value may go up even further if he manages to get back to the NBA Finals once again.
