We are a week away from the biggest tournament in golf. The 2025 Masters will begin on Thursday, April 10 as golfers play through four rounds at Augusta National in Augusta, Georgia.
Official invitations have been sent out, with competitors having a laundry list of ways that they can qualify for the tournament. For example, if you win the Masters, you have an invite in every subsequent Masters if you would like to. That means that Scottie Scheffler, the winner of the 2024 Masters, is automatically entered into the player field if he wanted to accept his invitation (which he did).
The Sporting News takes a look at who has been invited to the 2025 Masters along with how they qualified for the first major of the golf calendar.

Is Tiger Woods playing in the Masters this year?
No. Woods announced that he had torn his Achilles in March. The veteran golfer did play an April Fools’ Day joke saying that he would be in the field, but later admitted it was a joke and that he was not close to returning.
P.S. April Fools my Achilles is still a mess 🙂 https://t.co/H1Y1AOgn2v
