He might not be the most talked-about quarterback, but what C.J. Stroud has done in just two years in the NFL has been nothing short of spectacular. The 2023 Rookie of the Year has led the Texans to the playoffs despite myriad injuries to his receiving corps for the second consecutive season.
Two straight divisional titles is no small feat, considering Houston failed to eclipse four wins in any of the three seasons prior. Stroud and head coach DeMeco Ryans have transformed Texans football, and as a result the fanbase has been revitalized. It’s no surprise, then, that tickets have been selling fast for Houston’s postseason games — even before the final bracket has been set.

Of course, it has been far more than Stroud and Ryans making this franchise go. Houston has also benefited from elite wide receiver Nico Collins, stud veteran back Joe Mixon, and a stout defensive unit led by Derek Stingley, Will Anderson and Danielle Hunter. Even after the Texans’ slide at the end of the regular season, this is a squad that few AFC opponents will be raring to face.
The Texans have locked up the No. 4 seed in the conference, so they’ll play whichever team out of the Steelers, Ravens or Chargers winds up in the fifth seed. If Houston can win its first-round matchup like it did last year against Cleveland, Stroud and company could go up against the Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium.
That’s no small challenge, but Stroud and this young franchise have proven time and again that they are up for difficult tests. Want to check out this squad in person? Here’s how to join the party and watch the Texans live in the 2025 postseason, with the best deals on tickets for Houston’s entire playoff run.
Texans playoff tickets 2025
Tickets for the Texans’ 2025 playoff games are available now on StubHub.
Locked in as the No. 4 seed, Houston will enjoy home-field advantage in at least the Wild Card Round of the AFC Playoffs.
If it wins in the first round, DeMeco Ryans’ squad will likely be traveling to face its Divisional Round opponent. That could be Kansas City, unless a team seeded lower than Houston also manages to advance to the second round.
The Texans may not know their opponents just yet — or game dates, for that matter — but tickets for each round of the playoffs are already available.
As of early January, the cheapest tickets to Houston’s wild-card game were priced between $134 and $155. Dozens of tickets listed in the $160-$200 range were listed as “amazing” by StubHub for their views and values.
