Terry Bradshaw rips Aaron Rodgers, Steelers over never-ending saga

Aaron Rodgers basically has the entire Pittsburgh Steelers organization and the city holding their breaths. The future Hall of Fame quarterback has been linked to the franchise since the first day of free agency back in March and even visited the Steelers’ facility.

With all other options other than signing with Pittsburgh and retiring off the board, many expect Rodgers to sign with the Steelers. However, the 41-year-old isn’t in any rush to ink a deal with the storied franchise, and Steelers legend Terry Bradshaw has had enough.

During an appearance on 103.7 The Buzz’s Morning Mayhem, Bradshaw went off on Pittsburgh for still trying to sign Rodgers and also ripped the four-time league MVP in the process.

“That’s a joke. That is to me just a joke,” Bradshaw said on the Steelers pursuit of Rodgers. “What are you going to do? Bring him in for one year? Are you kidding me? That guy [Rodgers] needs to stay in California. Go somewhere and chew on bark. Whisper to the gods out there.”

Bradshaw is speaking for all Steelers fans and everyone who is tired of this entire situation. Rodgers has been mulling his future for over two months, and we still have no definite timetable for when we can know his decision.

Rodgers would be an exciting addition to the team and could turn Pittsburgh into a Super Bowl contender. However, general manager Omar Khan and head coach Mike Tomlin have to move on at some point. June is on the horizon, and the Steelers have no clue who their starting signal-caller will be in 2025.

If Rodgers ends up signing with Pittsburgh in the next few weeks, that would be great. But there is also a chance he wasted everyone’s time and decides to call it a career. In that case, the Steelers will have to pivot and find another starting-caliber quarterback, and there aren’t that many left on the market.
