Stephen A. Smith still hasn’t figured out when to shut his mouth.
The popular ESPN commentator took to his own Stephen A. Smith Show on Wednesday night with a ludicrous claim regarding his recent confrontation with LeBron James after a Lakers game.
James approached Smith to discuss Smith’s commentary on Bronny James, LeBron’s son.
Smith wants us all to know that if things had gotten physical, he wouldn’t have backed down.
Wild: Stephen A. Smith says if LeBron James touched him during the confrontation he would’ve swung on him immediately:
“If that man put his hands on me, I would’ve immediately swung on him. Immediately.”

“If that man put his hands on me, I would’ve immediately swung on him,” Smith said on his show. “Immediately.”
LeBron was certainly smart enough not to get into any kind of physical altercation, but what is Smith playing at?

Smith, who is considered to be 6-foot-1. He’s 57. He’s not, nor has he ever been, a top-level professional athlete.
James, the greatest 40-year old athlete ever, is 6-foot-9, 250 pounds and chiseled like a statue of an ancient Greek god.
It would’ve been a sight to behold, but King James doesn’t need that tough-guy act. He’s just fine being LeBron.
