Steelers vs. Ravens live score, updates, highlights from NFL wild-card playoff game

The Steelers and Ravens will meet up in the wild-card round of the 2025 NFL playoffs. Like their last game in Week 16, a 34-17 Baltimore win, Pittsburgh will be on the road after losing the AFC North.

Mike Tomlin authored another winning season in 2025, but he’s in need of a deep playoff run. The legendary Steelers’ coach hasn’t won a playoff game since 2016 and hasn’t been back to the Super Bowl since losing to the Packers in 2010.

He retains the honor of never having a losing regular season, but that also means that Pittsburgh hasn’t had a high draft pick in years. The Steelers have been good, not great, for over a decade now, and Tomlin needs a big win over Baltimore to help silence the critics.

The Ravens haven’t been to the Super Bowl since winning it in 2013. Baltimore quarterback Lamar Jackson has a chance to win his third MVP overall after turning in arguably the best season of his career. Running back Derrick Henry ran for nearly 2,000 yards and scored 16 rushing touchdowns in his first season with the team, and Zay Flowers (1,059 yards, four TDs) made the Pro Bowl. Unfortunately for Baltimore, he’s unlikely to play after injuring his knee in Week 18.

The Ravens also have a great defense now that Kyle Hamilton has been unleashed as a free safety, so the team is hoping to strike while the iron is hot and capitalize on the momentum built from the regular season.

A win over the Steelers would be big for the Ravens. Jackson has largely struggled against his division rival, especially in Baltimore. A Ravens victory would likely mean that they go on the road to face the Bills next week, but the team can’t afford to look past Pittsburgh on Saturday night.

Jackson kept the ball for the fifth consecutive play and picked up four. He found Mark Andrews on second down for a gain of seven for another first down.

8:15 p.m. — Pittsburgh is a run-heavy team, but veteran quarterback Russell Wilson started with a pass. It was incomplete to Pat Freiermuth. Wilson hit Darnell Washington for a nine-yard gain.
