Steelers’ 2025 opponents revealed after second-place finish in AFC North

With the Pittsburgh Steelers’ 19-17 loss at home to the division rival Cincinnati Bengals on Saturday night, the opponents the team will face in 2025 are now officially set in stone.

The Steelers’ record is finalized for the 2024 regular season at 10-7, which was enough to reach the playoffs but still disappointing given the four-game losing streak that closed the season.

Most of the games on the team’s schedule were already decided for next year; NFL schedules include six games against division rivals and eight total games against divisions from each conference.

The rotation for next season pits Pittsburgh up against the AFC East and the NFC North, meaning they will face the Buffalo Bills, Miami Dolphins, New York Jets, and New England Patriots, as well as the Chicago Bears, Detroit Lions, Minnesota Vikings and Green Bay Packers.

The new information is that the Steelers will play a second-place schedule for the rest of their opponents now that the Baltimore Ravens locked up the AFC North.

Pittsburgh will face the Indianapolis Colts and Seattle Seahawks at home, as well as the Los Angeles Chargers away as a result of the final position of each team in their divisions.

Pittsburgh Steelers 2025 opponents

Home Away
Baltimore Ravens Baltimore Ravens
Cincinnati Bengals Cincinnati Bengals
Cleveland Browns Cleveland Browns
Buffalo Bills New England Patriots
Miami Dolphins New York Jets
Indianapolis Colts Los Angeles Chargers
Green Bay Packers Chicago Bears
Minnesota Vikings Detroit Lions
Seattle Seahawks

Of course, we don’t have the exact dates and times of the games just yet, as the NFL doesn’t release the full schedule until May. Last year, it fell on May 15.

With the NFL season now being 17 games, the Steelers are one of the lucky 50% who will receive an extra home game in 2025.

However, the team is reportedly expected to play game in Dublin, Ireland next year, and that could count as one of their home games, per the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette’s Gerry Dulac.

None of this will be anywhere near the team’s mind at present, though.

Mike Tomlin and company must prepare for a road playoff game next week that could come in either Baltimore or Houston, depending on the outcome of the Chargers game.
