Shocking Ravens draft prediction adds ascending quarterback on Day 2 of 2026 NFL Draft

The Baltimore Ravens will always have needs to address every offseason, but quarterback shouldn’t be a need for the team for a while.

Since being selected with the No.32 overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft, Lamar Jackson has been one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL and has completely changed the trajectory of the Ravens.

Jackson has Baltimore in a position to compete for Super Bowls for years to come, but Pro Football Network’s Brentley Weissman shockingly has the Ravens selecting a quarterback on Day 2 of the 2026 NFL Draft in Michigan State’s Aidan Chiles.

Chiles is an incredibly raw prospect right now who had some ups and downs in his first season with the Spartans in 2024.

The Oregon State transfer tossed 13 touchdowns to 11 interceptions with a 59.4% completion rate last year but is expected to take a major leap in 2025.

Though Chiles has a ton of promise and could be a solid quarterback in the NFL, it makes no sense for Baltimore to take a quarterback on the first two days of the draft when Jackson is still playing at an elite level.

The two-time NFL MVP is coming off the best season of his career in 2024, as he posted a career-high 41 touchdowns and had just four interceptions.

Chiles could be an exciting prospect next year, but he shouldn’t be on the Ravens’ radar unless he’s available late on Day 3.
