Each year, the USWNT takes on the best in the world on home soil in the SheBelieves Cup. In 2025, the reigning Olympic champions and top-ranked team in the world will take on No. 7 Japan, No. 21 Colombia and No. 15 Australia in a three-day, six-match tournament.
The SheBelieves Cup began in 2016, and since, the U.S. has lost just twice, finishing fourth in 2017 and runner-up in 2019. But it’s no secret that the USWNT thrives at home, and they’ve yet to lose under Emma Hayes. Can this year be the year someone upsets the favorites?
Japan is no stranger to the tournament, playing four times previously and finishing runner-up in 2023. It most recently faces the U.S. in the 2024 Olympic quarterfinals, putting up the fight of it’s life before falling 1-0 in extra time.
Colombia is a rising star making its SheBelieves Cup debut in 2025. The squad, led by a teenage Linda Caceido, is only getting started, and it can make its move on the pitch in the blink of an eye.
Rounding out the SheBelieves Cup is Australia. The Matildas are still learning to play without Sam Kerr, who hasn’t played since tearing her ACL in January 2024. There’s no counting out the Matildas, though, who still have some of the best players in the world.

The teams will play matches in Houston, Glendale and San Diego throughout February, so there’s plenty of soccer for everyone.

Because each day of play is a doubleheader, fans only need one pass to see both matches at the venue.
Currently, it costs just $20 to watch the matches in Houston. Glendale’s matches cost $30, while fans can pay as little as $40 to watch the matches in San Diego. Of course, those that want seats closer to the field can spend more, anywhere from $100 to $250, to sit lower in the stadiums.

SheBelieves Cup 2025 schedule
The SheBelieves Cup will take place over three days and three locations.
Match day 1 will be Thursday, Feb. 20 in Houston, match day 2 on Sunday, Feb. 23 in Glendale and match day 3 on Wednesday, Feb. 26 in San Diego.
