Barcelona travel to Sevilla in one of La Liga’s marquee matches of the weekend.
Barca find themselves behind both Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid in third place at present, but with the two city rivals facing one another on the same matchweek, this presents itself as an opportunity for Hansi Flick’s side to gain ground in what could prove to be a three-horse title race.
However Sevilla, currently sitting in 12th could take big momentum from a win over the Catalan side. And with just four points between themselves and sixth-placed Rayo Vallecano, it wouldn’t take much to kickstart a big push in the second half of the campaign.
The Sporting News runs through the latest team news and injury updates for both sides.
