Seahawks announce injury report for Week 5 against Jaguars

The Seahawks tallied their second loss of the season after a late-game interception set up Baker Mayfield and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for a game-winning field goal in Week 5.

Seattle will be tasked with another tough matchup in Week 6 as they travel to Jacksonville to take on the 4-1 Jaguars.

Heading into the final days before kickoff, the Seahawks were given some more news on multiple injured players before the game.

Seahawks release injury reports for five players for game vs. Jaguars

ESPN‘s Brady Henderson reported on Friday that five Seahawks players are trending towards missing Week 6 against the Jaguars.

The list includes S Julian Love (hamstring), CB Devon Witherspoon (knee), and CB Riq Woolen (concussion) as doubtful, while LB Derick Hall (oblique) and OL Josh Jones (ankle) are labeled as out.

Seattle’s secondary was already thin with Julian Love missing the last two games and Devon Witherspoon out for the last three. The Seahawks are looking to be even more shorthanded with Riq Woolen unlikely to play.

Derick Hall suffered an oblique injury last week in the Seahawks’ loss to the Buccaneers. He will be missing the first game of his short, three-year career.

Josh Jones will be in line to miss his second straight game with his ankle injury.
