Real Madrid star set for summer exit If one key condition is not met

Rodrygo Goes could be on his way out of Real Madrid this summer if he fails to prove himself before the end of the summer.

According to Cadena SER, a Spanish outlet, the Brazilian winger’s future at the Santiago Bernabeu is far from secure, and an exit is a real possibility if his form doesn’t improve.

The 24-year-old finished the 2024–25 season with 14 goals and 11 assists across all competitions; however, his performances were regularly questioned for inconsistency.

Spanish journalist Antonio Romero explained, “If Rodrygo doesn’t wake up and an offer comes in, he’s more out than in. Nobody wants to sell the Rodrygo who shined two or three seasons ago, but last season’s Rodrygo looked melancholic and inconsistent.”

Real Madrid are believed to be asking for around €90m [$105m]

Arsenal are leading the race for his signature, with Mikel Arteta eager to strengthen the left wing. Rodrygo is reportedly at the top of their shortlist.

Arsenal defender Gabriel Magalhaes has backed the move, telling Podpah, “He’s a phenomenon. If it depended on me, of course.”

New Real Madrid manager Xabi Alonso added, “He’s a spectacular player, and we need him,” but also admitted that every player will be evaluated.
