It is an open secret that Arsenal are looking to bolster their forwardline in this summer transfer window. Although, they have struggled to wrap up a single deal this summer, they are still actively working on a few of them in the background.
Real Madrid star winger, Rodrygo Goes is a top priority for the Gunners in this window. They desperately need another winger who could shoulder the goalscoring responsibilities and the 24-year-old is ideal for that role.
Rodrygo is a big match player, who has won multiple Champions League titles with Los Blancos and has scored in crucial games as well. So, he is ideal for Mikel Arteta among all the options available in the market.
However, any deal for the Brazil international would mean that he needs to actively push out for a move away from the Spanish capital. It remains to be seen how he gels with the newly appointed manager, Xabi Alonso.
But a couple of days ago, Rodrygo posted an image on Instagram with the caption ‘FELIZ’ along with a white heart emoji. It was a picture of his training where he was donning the Real Madrid training kit. Feliz is Spanish for ‘Happy’, which is actually a cryptic message from the winger amid all the rumours of him getting unsettled in Madrid.
There have been a lot of noise surrounding the Brazilian but Arsenal understand that a deal would only happen if the player wants to make a move out. So, they are now focusing on landing a striker for now and are strongly linked with RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesko.

Where could Rodrygo end up this summer?
At the moment, the Brazilian is preparing for the upcoming Club World Cup in the United States. Real Madrid are placed in Group H alongside teams like Al-Hilal, RB Salzburg and Pachuca. They will start their journey on June 19 against Al-Hilal.
There were reports from Spain that suggested that Rodrygo is feeling unsettled since the arrival of Kylian Mbappe. His minutes have gone down and he has also fallen down the pecking order with the likes of Mbappe, Vinicius Jr, and Jude Bellingham hogging most of the limelight at Santiago Bernabeu.
Hence a move out of the Spanish capital was a possibility. Also, it remains to be seen where he fits in Alonso’s style of play and preferred formation. If he doesn’t get regular minutes, he could force his way out but now these are all speculations.
Real Madrid recently snapped up Argentine sensation Franco Mastantuono but as per reports he may have no impact on Rodrygo’s future at Madrid. He netted six goals and provided five assists in 20 La Liga appearances last season.
If this doesn’t work out, Arsenal have alternatives lined up in Athletic Bilbao’s Nico Williams, Aston Villa’s Morgan Rogers, Manchester United’s Alejandro Garnacho and also Feyenoord’s Igor Paixao.
