Real Madrid on the verge of completing third summer signing in Dutch wonderkid

Real Madrid’s summer rebuild isn’t slowing down anytime soon.

After adding Dean Huijsen and the blockbuster arrival of Trent Alexander-Arnold, the Spanish giants are now close to wrapping up their third signing — and this one is all about the future.

Abdellah Ouazane, a 16-year-old midfielder born in Amsterdam, is set to join the club from Ajax. According to The Athletic, the youngster has agreed to a three-year deal, the maximum allowed for his age.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano also confirmed the move with his signature “Here we go!”

Ouazane is expected to arrive in July and start with Real Madrid’s Castilla team, where many future stars first shine. But this isn’t just another youth signing — it’s a calculated move aimed at the long term.

Who is Abdellah Ouazane? The potential new Real Madrid signing

Ouazane made headlines during the recent U17 Africa Cup of Nations, where he led Morocco to victory and was named the tournament’s best player.

He’s already worn the captain’s armband for Morocco’s U17 side and stood out in Ajax’s famed academy.

While his usual spot is central midfield, coaches see him as a player who can adapt anywhere in the middle of the pitch. His football brain does the heavy lifting, and at 16, he’s already showing signs of maturity far beyond his years.

Real Madrid’s scouting team didn’t miss a beat. They reportedly made several trips to Amsterdam to seal the deal, and the project convinced the Dutch wonderkid and his family.

And speaking of family — there’s a two-for-one twist. Abdellah’s older brother, Zakaria Ouazane, is also expected to sign with Real Madrid. The 18-year-old striker currently plays for Ajax’s U19s and will join Madrid C.

This double deal is another example of Madrid’s growing focus on early talent. With a few smart passes in the transfer market, they’re building a squad that’s already looking years ahead.
