The youngster has impressed Alonso and company, especially after his first team appearance during Arsenal’s recent preseason match.
Dowman, who played 30 minutes against Newcastle, won a penalty, which Martin Odegaard converted.

The teenager rifled off multiple shots, constantly challenging the Newcastle backline.
Real are interested in Dowman because of his midfield prowess and technical ability. The 15-year-old has good vision and can make good footballing decisions.
He has shown incredible composure on and off the ball. His attacking abilities are outstanding, with the youngster scoring 17 goals and assisting 10 times in the U18 Premier League.
Arsenal will not want to lose a player of Dowman’s quality, but Real Madrid could be an appealing option for the young English midfielder.
