Ravens won’t have it easy in 2025 based on strength of schedule ranking

The Baltimore Ravens ended their 2024 campaign with a 12-5 record and in first place in the AFC North before defeating the Pittsburgh Steelers in the wild-card round and falling to the Buffalo Bills the next week.

At this point in an offseason filled with roster changes in Baltimore, we know who and where the Ravens will be playing in their 18th season under head coach John Harbaugh, but we’re still waiting for the NFL’s schedule release on May 14 to find out when these games will happen.

While we wait for that information, we can still compare how difficult Baltimore’s schedule is compared to the rest of the league. In fact, NFL analyst Warren Sharp put together the strength of schedules for each team in 2025 based on their projected win totals for the season from Vegas oddsmakers.

With this model, Baltimore has the 12th-toughest schedule, and they’re still projected to finished with 11.5 wins on the season. Their schedule is just easier than the Dallas Cowboys’ but more difficult than the Los Angeles Rams’.

In 2025, the Baltimore Ravens will play all three AFC North teams (Cleveland Browns, Pittsburgh Steelers and Cincinnati Bengals) twice (once at home and once on the road) as they do every year. They’ll also play the winners of each division in their conference (Buffalo Bills, Houston Texans and Kansas City Chiefs) and one division winner from the opposite conference (Los Angeles Rams).

This year, they’ll face the other three teams in the AFC East (Miami Dolphins, New York Jets and New England Patriots) as well as four teams from the NFC North (Detroit Lions, Minnesota Vikings, Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears).

The schedule release could actually impact how difficult or easy Baltimore’s 17 regular-season games will actually be depending on road trips/home stays and strange travel situations. Luckily, they have a tenured coach, general manager and quarterback to help navigate through this season.

Baltimore has been unable to breakthrough as legitimate Super Bowl contenders in recent years, but a schedule like this one could test them enough to set them up for a run in the postseason if things break their way.
