Lamar Jackson’s first game back from a three-match absence was filled with fireworks.
The Baltimore Ravens signal-caller looked unfettered by the weight of his side’s poor start to the season. In fact, Jackson found life in familiar confines, ripping the Miami Dolphins’ defense apart to the tune of four touchdowns.
Jackson anchored the Ravens’ 28-6 win over the Dolphins on Thursday night. His final line was reflective of an archer who found his rhythm a stone’s throw from his hometown: Jackson completed 18-of-23 passes for 204 yards and four scores, good for a 143.1 passer rating.
The Ravens pulled one game closer to the top of the AFC North on Thursday night. While they’re still on the outside looking in of postseason play, there’s a clear road that leads back to contention, if they so choose it.
The Sporting News tracked live updates from Thursday night’s game between Baltimore and Miami. Below are highlights, analysis and more as AFC sides clash atop the lush Hard Rock Stadium plains.
