The Toronto Raptors have cut one player loose.
Colin Castleton was waived on Monday, according to a Toronto press release.
Castleton had only joined the Raptors in March on a couple of 10-day deals, then they signed him to a two-year contract on the final day of the regular season.
He was originally an undrafted free agent out of Florida in 2024.
Castleton’s first contract was a two-way deal with the Lakers, but they waived him last October.
Castleton then signed with the Grizzlies and stayed in the Memphis organization until being cut again in January.
He played in the G League from there, then signed 10-day deals with the Raptors and 76ers.

Toronto decided at the end of the season to keep him under contract through the offseason before waiving him Monday.
Castleton played in 26 NBA games last season across the Grizzlies, 76ers and Raptors. He averaged 4.7 points and 4.7 rebounds per game in 16.6 minutes on average.
The big fella played at Vegas Summer League, but he struggled, shooting 33.3% and averaging 2.6 points per game.
Castleton will hope another NBA team, maybe one of the ones that wanted him last year, brings him back to the league in some way.
