Randal Kolo Muani makes ‘Juventus decision’ as PSG star plans Paris exit

Randal Kolo Muani has taken a concrete step towards leaving PSG as reports in Italy reveal he’s accepted a pay cut to ease a return to Juventus.

The French forward impressed during his loan spell in Turin last season, scoring eight goals in 16 league matches, and convincing the club’s hierarchy to hasten talks with PSG for a permanent move.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Juventus are finalising a package worth around €60m [$70m], which combines a substantial loan fee with a future obligation to buy.

PSG, who paid €95m [$111m] for Kolo Muani in 2023 have already written off €38m [$44m] of that figure, meaning a permanent sale would still allow them to make a slight profit.

The 25-year-old is expected to sign a five-year deal in Turin with wages set at €7m [$8m] plus bonuses down from the €9m [$10m] he earns in Paris.

The situation now hinges on how Juventus manage the rest of their transfer window.

Juventus close in on Kolo Muani return

As part of their attempt to fund a move for Kolo Muani, Juventus are reportedly considering offloading Douglas Luiz for a fee in excess of €30m [$35m] while Dusan Vlahovic remains on the market, and is been tracked by multiple clubs across Europe.

AC Milan are keeping a close eye on his situation, Barcelona have made inquiries and Newcastle United could make a move if Alexander Isak moves on.

A deal for Vlahovic would bring in close to €20m [$23m], and could involve a severance settlement with his agent Darko Ristic, who is known for tough negotiations.

Juventus view these potential sales as essential to balance their finances and secure Kolo Muani’s return to the Allianz Stadium.
