Rams expected to have high number of fans in Arizona

The Rams have been left scrambling due to the wildfires in Los Angeles this week, but it sounds as though they’ll have a strong contingent of fans in the stands ahead of Monday’s rescheduled kickoff in Arizona.

According to the team, the Rams sold 25,000 seats to season ticket holders for their “home” game against the Vikings, before that same number doubled to almost 52,000 during the second hour of ticket sales.

For reference, State Farm Stadium seats just north of 63,000, so while there might be a few extra Vikings jerseys in the stands compared to if the game was still being played at SoFi, the Rams should feel happy knowing most seats are occupied by their own fans.

The news follows Kelly Stafford, Matthew Stafford’s wife, who made the generous decision to pay for the charter buses transporting fans to Glendale.

According to reporters, the Rams took part in their final practice in California at Woodland Hills on Friday before departing for Phoenix not long after, where they are set to practice on Saturday at the Cardinals facility.
