PSG are on a roll just ahead of their Champions League semi-final showdown against Arsenal.
The Parisian giants extended their unbeaten away streak to a record-breaking 39 games following Tuesday’s dramatic 1-1 draw at Nantes, where Vitinha’s opener was canceled out by Douglas Augusto’s late equalizer.
The result might not have gone their way, but Luis Enrique’s men still managed to surpass AC Milan’s 33-year-old European of 38 away league games unbeaten, set between 1991 and 1993 under Arrigo Sacchi and Fabio Capello.
With the Champions League semifinals against Arsenal looming on April 29, the already-crowned Ligue 1 champions have their sights set on making even more history.
Despite missing a late chance when Goncalo Ramos’ header struck the crossbar, PSG remain perfect candidates to achieve what no French team has done before.

“I think the team always thinks about that because it’s important for us and for the club too,” Nuno Mendes said on Thursday during Rothen s’enflamme to RMC. Continuing further he said. “For us, it gives us ambition.”
The Portuguese international, who has a defensive rating of 6.97 this season emphasized the team’s determination despite having already secured the league title.
“We’re already champions, but if we don’t lose, it’s better for us, So we’re trying to achieve this record, to finish the championship without losing a match. I think we’re on the right track.”,he added.
With just four matches remaining, PSG stand tantalizingly close to making history with their current record of 24 wins and 6 draws from 30 games and will host Nice on April 25 before facing Arsenal on the road in the first leg.
The last three matches against Strasbourg, Montpellier and Auxerre respectively on the road will round off their League 1 campaign this season.
