When Rodrigo Mora broke into the FC Porto setup, many inside Portuguese football knew he was special.
Now, just 18, the attacking midfielder is gaining serious attention from European giants with PSG tracking the Portuguese star.
According to Fabrizio Romano, PSG have monitored Mora’s progress but are not expected to make a formal move this summer.
According to some sources, the Club feels his playing profile is too similar to that of academy product Senny Mayulu and are unwilling to crowd the same position with another youngster.
Mora’s current deal includes a €70m [$81m] release clause and while that figure is steep, it has not deterred several top European sides from keeping track on the star.
He had been linked with PSG shortly after Geovany Quenda, another top Portuguese talent, left Sporting CP to join Chelsea.

As reported by Portuguese outlet Record, Mora is now growing concerned about his future at Porto.
The teenager fears being pushed into a lesser role this season and that worry has led him to consider a move away from the club while there is still interest around him.
According to Fichajes, Real Madrid have showed interest in the star with him catching the eyes of the Los Blancos scouts, who view him as a huge potential.
While PSG may not make an offer in this window, the club remains attentive to Mora’s next decision. If his situation at Porto worsens, it could prompt Les Parisiens to act.
