PSG chiefs draw five-player exit list in summer rebuild

Following a historic 2024/25 season where PSG won a first-ever UEFA Champions League – alongside Ligue 1, French Cup and French Supercup – club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi is already looking to reshape the squad.

Despite winning so much silverware – and reaching the FIFA Club World Cup final – PSG’s leadership believe the squad needs trimming and several players have been marked for possible departure.

As the club aim to secure exit packages, Luis Enrique has been informed of the situation, with the outcasted list of stars now reportedly training with the PSG under 21 squad.

PSG identify five players to offload

According to Le 10 sport, PSG intend to sell Randal Kolo Muani, Milan Skriniar, Marco Asensio, Carlos Soler and Nordi Mukiele before the September 1 transfer window deadline.

Kolo Muani, who spent last season on loan at Juventus, rejoined training Wednesday but remains excluded from the main group.

According to A Spor, Fenerbahce has reached an agreement with PSG to sign Skriniar and Asensio for a combined €20m [$23m].

Jose Mourinho played a key role in the push to bring the duo to Turkey for 2025/26 with Asensio reportedly offered €9m [$10m] in annual wages

Carlos Soler, who spent last season on loan West Ham United has no place in Luis Enrique’s plans, and Nordi Mukiele – who returned from a spell at Bayer Leverkusen – is also expected to leave despite being under contract until 2027.

PSG will demand around €40m [$46m] for Kolo Muani but loans for Soler and Mukiele appear more likely at this stage.
