Arrivals and departures at Liverpool are set to step up in the coming weeks as Arne Slot’s new-look squad takes shape.
The Dutch coach is not planning major changes, but he will look to bolster in key positions, as Trent Alexander-Arnold prepares to join Real Madrid on a free transfer.
Bayer Leverkusen star Jeremie Frimpong has been highlighted as a the candidate to replace Alexander-Arnold and clubmate Florian Wirtz is in talks over a club record transfer to Anfield.
Slot will have a sizeable transfer budget to work with in the months ahead but the club are keen to offload players to fund part of their incomings.
Darwin Nunez has been highlighted as a likely departure, with the Uruguayan struggling to fit into Slot’s plans, and back up goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher could follow him out of Anfield.
Republic of Ireland international Kelleher has openly stated his desire to move on in search of a No.1 spot and a stay in the Premier League looks likely for the 26-year-old.

Alisson remains unmoved as Slot’s No.1 and Kelleher’s chances are further reduced by the incoming arrival of Valencia star Giorgi Mamardashvili as part of a transfer agreement from 2024.
Kelleher was blocked from leaving Anfield last summer, but his departure looks certain now, with his national team boss Heimir HallgrÃmsson telling him to move on for the good of his career.
Multiple EPL sides have been linked with offers, with Liverpool setting a £30m [$40m] transfer fee, and Sky Sports have flagged Brentford as the current front runners.
