PGA Tour Championship purse for 2025

This year’s FedEx Cup purse sits at $40 million, an impressive total but well short of the $100 million bill the Tour footed last season.

The Tour has shelled out additional funds throughout the past month, with the Wyndham Championship and BMW Championship winners receiving large paychecks for their efforts.

Also included in a Tour champion’s spoils is a five-year PGA Tour exemption. As has been the case in past seasons, the winner of the contest will walk away with a quarter of the total prize money.

How much money does the PGA Tour Championship winner get?

The Tour Championship winner will net $10 million in 2025, the largest single check in any PGA Tour event in 2025.

That’s a major downgrade on last year’s winnings, which stood at $25 million. Nevertheless, that money has been accounted for in other matches throughout the FedEx Cup playoffs.
