PGA Championship weather updates: Will rain in Charlotte forecast delay Thursday’s Round 1?

The PGA Championship returns to Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte, North Carolina, this year, where there should be plenty of action and star candidates to win the major.

The tournament was last played on the course in 2017, when Justin Thomas emerged as the victor. But for like any other major, weather could play a role in this year’s PGA Championship.

Early in the week in Charlotte, Quail Hollow was closed to spectators due to heavy rain in the area. Will the PGA Championship be delayed by any other inclement weather?
