One of golf’s most prestigious tournaments, the US PGA Championship, returns for the 107th edition on Thursday, May 15, at the Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Defending champion Xander Schauffele will aim to retain his title after a stellar win last year, where he overcame the likes of Bryson DeChambeau and Viktor Hovland. A win this year would make him the first golfer since Brooks Koepka in 2017 and 2018 to claim back-to-back PGA Championships.
Schauffele will face stiff competition in his quest for a third Major. Among the top contenders are World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler, 2025 Masters winner Rory Mcllroy, Bryson DeChambeau, and Jon Rahm.
The Quail Hollow Club has hosted the PGA Championship previously in 2017 and is a regular stop in the PGA Tour where it has hosted many tournaments such as the Wachovia Championship, Quail Hollow Championship, and Wells Fargo Championship.
