Manchester City have been busy so far in the summer transfer window with Pep Guardiola already bringing in Rayan Cherki, Marcus Bettinelli, Rayan Aït-Nouri, and Tijjani Reijnders.
The club has also added a few younger players to train with their youth teams, before potentially making their way into the first team, in the footsteps over other star names.
Guardiola named a 27-man squad to travel to the FIFA Club World Cup, including those four new faces, but England international Jack Grealish was a notable absentee.
What did Pep Guardiola say about his squad?
Speaking before Manchester City’s match against Al Ain on June 22, Guardiola hinted there could be multiple players leaving this summer.
The Spaniard spoke to the media and said, “I would love to have the players that we have now all season. I would love it. I don’t have any complaints about the players, or how they behave.
“The problem is they will be unhappy during the season. They will be sad, they will be disappointed. I don’t want that. For me, it’s not a problem.”

Several City players have been linked with moves away in the weeks ahead, including Grealish and his Three Lions teammate Kyle Walker.
Both players are reportedly wanted by other Premier League clubs, despite Walker rejecting Everton, after returning from a loan spell at AC Milan.
Another player who has been in the headlines regarding a possible exit is İlkay Gündoğan. The midfielder is wanted by Galatasaray, but a decision hasn’t been made yet, as Guardiola assesses his options.
When asked about Gündoğan, Guardiola stated, “I don’t know anything. I didn’t speak with him, and if he will not be part [of the squad], he would not be here.
“But right now, Ilkay is absolutely part of my mind and the team.”
