Paige Spiranac is stepping into a new role behind the scenes of the game she loves.
The hugely popular golf influencer announced she’s joining the front office of Grass League, a high-stakes par-3 team competition that’s gaining buzz. In a YouTube announcement she posted on Thursday, May 29, Spiranac said she would focus on brand development, fan engagement, marketing, content strategy, sponsorships, and scouting talent — all while continuing her current projects.
“This is a huge next step in my career,” Spiranac said. “It doesn’t take away from anything I’m already doing, it just adds to it.”
The move came after a conversation with league owners at the recent Waste Management Phoenix Open. She said she recognized a pattern of offering her ideas freely in the past and saw this as an opportunity to bring her creative input into a role that values and compensates her contributions more.
“I’ve always loved brand building and marketing,” she said. “With every partner I work with, I’ve had full creative control — that’s the fun part for me.”
After attending the league’s first event as a correspondent, Spiranac, 32, was sold. She was impressed with the two-person scramble format — played entirely on par-3 courses — and how polished the production was. The mix of players, including current and former pros, amateurs, men and women over 18, also stood out.
“It’s unlike anything I’ve seen before,” she said. “And I really feel like I can help it grow.”
