The Green Bay Packers are taking a chance on a good luck charm.
On Sunday, the NFC North contender traded for a player who has been a member of each of the past three Super Bowl champions.
Yes, that means the Kansas City Chiefs following the 2022 and 2023 seasons before spending the 2024 season with the Philadelphia Eagles.
It’s the Eagles that made the deal with the Packers on Sunday, sending them offensive tackle Darian Kinnard.

Kinnard was a fifth-round pick by the Chiefs in 2022, and he has yet to end an NFL season without a Super Bowl ring.
Three seasons, three rings.
Green Bay would love for Kennard to make it four for four.
He went to Green Bay on Sunday for a 2027 sixth-round pick, per multiple reports.
It was one of three trades the Eagles made on Sunday.
They also dealt for quarterback Sam Howell and offensive tackle Fred Johnson.
Johnson’s entry to Philadelphia likely helped make Kinnard expendable.

Kinnard is from northeast Ohio, having played in high school at Cleveland-area powerhouse St. Ignatius.
He then played his college ball at Kentucky before the Chiefs made him the No. 145 overall pick in 2022.
Kinnard appeared in one regular season game for the Chiefs in 2022.
Last season with Philly, Kinnard made two appearances, including one start.
The 6-foot-5, 322-pound tackle is now onto his third NFL team, and the Packers are hoping their season ends just the way Kinnard’s first three seasons in the league have, with the Lombardi Trophy and a parade.
