Ousmane Dembele sends strong warning to Tottenham ahead of UEFA Super Cup clash

PSG arrive at the UEFA Super Cup carrying the weight of a season that already feels like football history.

Luis Enrique’s side won Ligue 1, the Coupe de France, the Trophee des Champions, the UEFA Champions League and also reaching final of the Club World Cup.

Ousmane Dembele was the star of the season, where he won Champions League Player of the Season after scoring and assisting in crucial matches.

Desire Doue also shone, taking home Young Player of the Season.

Their UCL season was also littered by English opposition and each time the French champions found a way to win.

They did play against Liverpool in the round of 16 before ending Aston Villa’s spirited run in the quarterfinals.

They also ended Arsenal’s hopes in the semifinals and now Tottenham Hotspur stand as the latest English challenge in their path toward adding yet another trophy to their 2025 collection.

Tottenham come into this match after big changes in the summer. Ange Postecoglou was sacked even though he won the Europa League, owing to the team finishing seventeenth in the Premier League.

Thomas Frank is now in charge and has brought in Mohammed Kudus, Mathys Tel, and Joao Palhinha to strengthen the team.

But before the match kicks off on August 13 at Stadio Friuli in Udine, Dembele has issued a clear warning to the Spurs.

What did Ousmane Dembele said before the Tottenham clash?

Dembele, who scored 33 goals and provided 15 assists in 49 appearances last season offered his perspective before the clash with the PSG star making it clear that his team’s hunger for trophies remains as strong as ever.

“As we’ve said and reiterated, if we want to remain champions, we have to keep winning trophies.
