Orioles fans flooded social media after rumors surfaced about a possible logo change for the 2026 MLB season

The Baltimore Orioles have a 62-76 record in 2025, and they are in last place in the American League East. Baltimore is on the verge of missing the playoffs this season and they will have many questions to figure out with the roster this offseason.

Speaking of questions, will the Orioles keep the current logo they have for the 2026 MLB season or are they going to change the logo. There seems to be a lot of speculation on social media that Baltimore could potentially be changing the logo for the 2026 MLB season.

Baltimore Orioles Fans Debate Whether or Not Team Should Keep Current Logo For the 2026 MLB Season

Nothing has been officially announced from the Orioles organization about a potential change for the logo for 2026. There seems to be a lot of speculation about it on Twitter.

There’s rumor going around about the @Orioles possibly reverting back to the classic bird logo starting in 2026.

If Baltimore does make the bird with the cap not the main logo, for next season, going back to the classic bird would be really intriguing. Well, Orioles fans debated about whether or not the team should keep the logo it has now.

It was the non-cartoon bird through the worst stretch of Oriole baseball in my life, 98-2011. Bad bad days I associate with that hat. I’d rather not. Fans were very excited when we went back to a cartoon bird in I believe 2012, which harkened back to a long period of winning…

Personally, I’d like to see a mix of both. The classic would be nice for an alternate uniform, but the cartoon bird should always be the main logo

The current logo they have now became primary in 2019. It was the alternate logo from 2012-2018 season. It will be interesting to see if the Orioles organization will speak out about a potential logo switch for 2026 or if indeed these are just internet rumors after all.
