Aaron Gordon could’ve been ejected in the first half.
In the second half, at the buzzer, his putback dunk won the game.
Neither of the moments was without controversy.
At the end of the first half, he looked like he wanted to punch James Harden after chasing him down after an on-court scuffle, but he couldn’t reach him.
Then at the game’s buzzer, Gordon settled under a Nikola Jokic fading airball and threw the ball down with two hands.
The basket couldn’t have been any closer on the frame-by-frame video provided by the NBA.
In one frame, the clock is still at 0.1. At the next, it’s at 0.0. And it’s in that very moment that the ball appears to leave Gordon’s hands.
You can judge for yourself:

Also: That looks a heck of a lot like Lorenzo Charles for the NC State national championship.
It’s a huge moment in the series.Â
The games shift back to Denver now, and the series is tied 2-2.
If not for the referee’s leniency in the first half, and the split-second success for Gordon at the buzzer, the Clippers would be almost moving on.
Now, it’s anyone’s ballgame.
