Recently, a Nike baseball commercial featuring an organist has made its way onto our television sets.
MLB fans, particularly those of the Seattle Mariners, have tried to figure out who that is playing the organ. And if you guessed Ken Griffey Jr., you’re correct.
The all-time great makes this commercial cameo in a unique sort of way.
Here’s a look, if you haven’t seen it:

It’s got a bit of a spooky, Halloween vibe to it, too.
The commercial flashes through a number of MLB’s top players.
Those making appearances as highlights include Paul Skenes, Ronald Acuna Jr., Tarik Skubal, Jackson Merrill, Pete Alonso, Dansby Swanson, Lawrence Butler, a random old cameo of Orlando Hernandez, Bo Bichette, Christian Yelich, and many more.

There’s also a squirrel, and Bo Jackson breaking his bat over his head.
It culminates in a weird, evil laugh from Junior as he looks right into the camera.
It’s safe to expect plenty more play of this advertisement as the World Series continues. Sadly, the Mariners didn’t make it, or it’d be a lot more fun for Seattle fans.
