
The National Hockey League has finally disclosed the 2025-26 preseason schedule. The 15-day marathon from September 20 to October 4 will involve 104 games across 40 NHL arenas and neutral venues. Just days later, on October 7, the regular season starts with a tripleheader. As part of this preseason schedule, every NHL team will get to host at least one preseason game.
The NHL is also tapping into new markets, as the following neutral venues will also host some preseason games:
- Abbotsford, B.C.
- Bakersfield, Calif.
- Boise, Idaho
- Hershey, Pa.
- Ontario, Calif.
- Orlando, Fla.
- Quebec City, Que.
Some of the key matchups will draw a lot of attention. Here are some you need to take note of:
- Calgary vs. Vancouver in Abbotsford (Sept 24)
- Anaheim vs. Los Angeles in Bakersfield (Sept 27)
- Florida vs. Tampa Bay in Orlando (Sept 30)
