The Philadelphia Eagles having one of the best rosters in the NFL has proven to be a blessing and a curse, or at least it has in the eyes of the media.
Howie Roseman’s incredible ability to build the Birds squad resulted in them winning the Super Bowl last year, however, no matter how much star quarterback Jalen Hurts succeeds for Philadelphia there’s also a subset of analysts and fans that won’t admit his worth.
When it comes to former NFL legends that know the game and have played the same position as Hurts though, some are starting to speak up and reveal just how impressive the former Alabama signal caller actually is.
That includes two-time Super Bowl champion Peyton Manning, who recently spoke about Hurts’ incredible attention to detail and fascination with improving.
The legendary Peyton Manning raves about Eagles superstar QB Jalen Hurts:
“He’s played so well in both of the Super Bowls, but I like the way he goes about it. He calls me a lot and asks me lots of questions. They actually run a lot of plays that we used to run. [Nick] Sirianni,… pic.twitter.com/BKFDNBtWA9

Manning stated that he and Hurts are in regular communication and that the Super Bowl winner “asks me a lot of questions.”
While many players would get complacent after having as much success early in their career as Hurts has, the rising star continues to put in the work and excel in Nick Sirianni’s offense.
