Newcastle and Manchester United interested in Hugo Ekitike
According to reports from the Daily Telegraph, Newcastle would likely need £86m [$115m] to meet Hugo Ekitike’s release clause at Eintracht Frankfurt with Manchester United are also monitoring the 23-year-old Frenchman.
Both clubs face competition from Liverpool, although journalist Abdellah Boulma is claiming the Reds have since cooled their interest in the star.
Liverpool initially viewed Ekitike as a potential replacement for Darwin Nunez, who is still expected to leave, but they may not be able to afford him at this stage.
Chelsea also previously explored the option of bidding for Ekitike, who scored 22 goals across all competitions last season, including 15 in the Bundesliga.
