Kylian Mbappe may have just met his doppelgänger!
The 26-year-old Real Madrid soccer player came face-to-face with himself at the Madame Tussauds in London when they revealed his wax figure to him. When he first walked into the room to see the statue, he appeared shocked. “Oh wow! The new jersey, even the new boots!” He said enthusiastically.
He got up close to the figurine to inspect every single detail and even touched the nose of the statue, stating, “That’s me,” as he shook his head in approval. “I love it. Amazing. Handsome,” he said with a big smile on his face. “You’ve got everything, guys!”
He went on to thank everyone who worked so hard on his new wax figure, stating, “Thank you to everybody for all the work, because it’s a perfect job and I’m really happy with the result.”

Many fans took to the comments to react to Mbappe seeing double, including one fan who wrote, “Mbappe found his identical brother.”
“Looks taller and more Mbape than Mbape,” another fan quipped.
“That’s great work honestly,” another fan added while a fourth fan shared, “It looks so real.”
When speaking with ESPN, the soccer player noted just how meaningful the wax figure was to him. “It’s a big achievement for me, a big honor to be part of the big Madame Tussauds family,” Mbappé told the outlet. “I am really happy and even more when you see the results. It is amazing. I’m really proud to be here. It is a big day for me.”
This isn’t the first wax figure that Mbappe has of himself. The 2018 World Cup winner, who represented France, also has a statue of himself at the Grevin Museum in Paris, which was revealed to the public on May 17, 2018. The figure displayed in London will be revealed to the public on April 4, 2025.
Mbappé joined Real Madrid last summer as a free agent after his contract with Paris Saint-Germain expired.
