Three games, and three road-team wins. So what’s in store for Tuesday, when action resumes in Cleveland and opens in Minnesota?

NBA Player Prop Picks for May 6

Julius Randle Over 20.5 points vs Warriors (-105 at Bet365)

Amazing how basketball works. Julius Randle gets shipped out of New York with Donte DiVincenzo for Karl-Anthony Towns, and it’s expected he’d ruin whatever they’d built as West Finalists a year ago.

In fact, Randle – an absolute mismatch nightmare against these small-ball based teams – might very well be the reason Minny marches back to the final four.

He was a wrecking ball against the Lakers in Round 1, scoring 22 points or more in the final four games of that series, and absolutely getting to his spots in the paint at will.

Golden State barely survived a 2-big lineup, and as strong as Draymond Green is, even he’ll have trouble contending with Randle, who has discovered his role in this T-Wolves offense at just the right time.

Donovan Mitchell Over 3.5 3-point makes vs Pacers (+100 at Bet365)

For all the good times the Pacers have had, Indiana is threatening to spoil the party early. The East leaders dropped Game 1 at home 121-112 despite Donovan Mitchell leading the way with 33 points.

However, he was a brutal 1-for-11 from 3-point range, a major outlier performance after detonating Miami from distance, going 16-for-35 in Round 1, a crisp 45.7% clip.

There are some concerns on Cleveland’s injury front, with Darius Garland (toe), Evan Mobley (ankle), and De’Andre Hunter (thumb) all questionable for Game 2.

That means Mitchell will need a standout performance just to keep the Cavs in it.

I think the bounce back from three-point range is a must, and at +100 odds, it’s worth a flier.

Mitchell has hit four threes in a game vs Indy in four of eight regular season meetings, missing three other times by a single triple.

Steph Curry Under 26.5 points vs Timberwolves (-120 at Bet365)

After getting harassed, grabbed, and his thumb bashed on almost every half-court possession over seven games against Houston, Steph Curry is now facing a team that has an even better defensive rating than the Rockets.

Minnesota dispatched the Lakers in five games, in large part due to the defensive work they put in, holding LA to just 100.4 points per game in the series.

The T-Wolves don’t have Amen Thompson, but they have a bevy of live, active bodies that they can throw at Curry, starting with Jaden McDaniels, to veteran Mike Conley, Donte DiVincenzo, and, when needed, Anthony Edwards.Credit to Curry for gutting out Game 7, finishing with 22 points and team highs with 10 rebounds and seven assists.

His scoring staggered down the home stretch, scoring 22 points or less in three of the final four games of the series.

He should still be plenty active Tuesday, but after that Houston series, it won’t be surprising if he’s sluggish in Game 1.
