It’s a Sunday that NBA Playoff dreams are made of.
A hefty 4-pack slate, with every game at pivotal Game 4. And on each front, one team that will take a 3-1 stranglehold, or the other evens up the series and turns it into a Best-of-3.
We’ve gone through the various player props for this one and share our best NBA picks below.
NBA Player Prop Picks for April 27
Paolo Banchero Under 29.5 points vs Celtics (-110 at Bet365)
For the first time in this series, Boston held Paulo Banchero under 30 points in a game, as he finished with 29 points on a rough 10-for-25 shooting night.
The books have probably been getting crushed as he went for 30+ in each of his first two games, so now the total is set at 29.5, just at the time I believe Boston will do what it can to force Paolo to pass it up to teammates.
That doesn’t mean he won’t be able to score, the big man is just too talented not to get buckets.
But we’re getting into the gritty part of this series, and you’re about to see the defending champs kick it into high gear, especially on the defensive end.
Damian Lillard Over 2.5 3-point makes vs Pacers (-120 at Bet365)
Well, a Bucks guard did go berserk to help support Giannis in a Game 3 win over the Pacers and get Milwaukee right back into the series.
Alas, it was Gary Trent Jr detonating nine money balls from downtown, while Dame Lillard shot just 2-for-12 and finished with seven points.
At some point, Lillard is going to have to get cooking for the Bucks to actually win this series, especially from downtown.
Dame has now gone under three 3-point makes in four straight games. That’s notable because that only happened once this regular season, and he snapped out of that funk by hitting three triples in his next start.
He’s not looked himself this series, and recovering from a blood clot in his calf has zapped both explosiveness and confidence from his game.
But the guy knows how to shoot, and he should keep firing away, with better success in Game 4.
Karl-Anthony Towns Over 1.5 3-point makes vs Pistons (-110 at Bet365)
Karl-Anthony Towns made sure he was going to make an impact in Game 3 after a subpar Game 2, and he made noise early, drilling three 3-pointers en route to a game-high 31 points.
The books have him at a very reachable 1.5 make line from beyond the arc in Game 4.
Towns was almost a non-factor shooting the moneyball in the first two games of the series, attempting just five total, hitting just one, but his inside-outside game is vital to the Knicks’ success.
If he’s able to step out and consistently knock down the 3-ball, the spacing makes it impossible to clog the paint on Jalen Brunson’s forays into the paint.
Prior to this series with Detroit, KAT had drilled at least two 3-pointers in 10 of the last 13 games against the Pistons.
I like him finding the range again.
