Get your playoff basketball fill in for Saturday, as there’s a hefty 4-pack of games with only one series – Memphis vs OKC – that’s really gotten out of hand.
The Heat are back at home trying to claw their way back from down 2-0 against the Cavaliers, while the Clippers attempt to go up 3-1 at home against the Nuggets.
And back in the Bay, the Warriors and Rockets are tied 1-1, but an injured Jimmy Butler looms large.
All this to say we’ve got a lot of NBA player props to choose from! See below for our three best NBA picks.
NBA Player Prop Picks for April 26
Steph Curry Over 26.5 points vs Rockets (-115 at Bet365)
Golden State is at home after getting a split in Houston, but they’re far from having the advantage, as Jimmy Butler’s tailbone injury looms over all.
Even if he can go, Butler will be playing compromised, and that leaves the burden of scoring to Steph Curry.
He has been beaten up through two games in this series, and a return home presumably means a slightly better whistle and room to operate.
Butler has been a boon offensively for Curry, a star that can do all things at a high level, so not every Warriors dream lives or dies with a Curry jumper.
But you saw the carnage without him in Game 2. Curry went 6-for-15 for 20 points, and the Dubs scored just 94 points.
With so much on the line, look for Curry to hold it down for Butler and his own team, and keep the Warriors in the driver’s seat in this series.
Nikola Jokic Over 26.5 points vs Clippers (-115 at Bet365)
From one star to another, the Nuggets are going to need Nikola Jokic, supernova version, to ensure Denver does not fall behind 3-1 to the LA Clippers.
However, Jokic’s scoring has gone down in three straight games this series, including just 23 in Game 3 (though he did finish with a second straight triple double).
I don’t think anyone on the Nuggets has a 30+ point game in them (like Gary Trent Jr did to support Giannis Friday night), so Jokic is going to have to be the wrecking crew here.
It’s not like he hasn’t done this to this Clippers team before, either. In his last seven regular season games, Jokic has scored 28 or more points five times.
LA is tough at home, and James Harden and Kawhi Leonard are cooking on top of a stingy defense. But I can’t see the three-time MVP going back to Denver not all squared up after this one.
Scottie Pippen Jr Under 14.5 points vs Thunder (-115 at Bet365)
With the brooms potentially out in Memphis, it’s doubtful Ja Morant will be able to go after that rough hip injury he suffered in Game 3.
The swing minus Ja was wild, with OKC erasing a 29-point deficit to come back and win, taking a 3-0 series stranglehold.
Scottie Pippen Jr had his playoff high in that one with 28, and the books have his line to a slightly elevated 14.5 points.
I just don’t think that increased scoring is coming from him. Memphis has veteran scoring guards like Desmond Bane and Luke Kennard who should make up for some of that offense, and Pippen will slide into his regular role of facilitator, defender, and scorer where necessary.
Prior to Game 3, Pippen had gone under his set line in the first two games of this series and six of his last seven games overall.
