Kentavious Caldwell-Pope Over 7.5 Points (-105)

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope has been shooting the ball very well lately, coming in at 43.9% from the field and 41.7% from three-point range across his last ten games. In that ten-game span, KCP is averaging 7.6 points per game on nearly 30 minutes of court time per contest. His scoring average is even higher when he plays at home, posting 8.5 per outing, and tonight’s matchup vs. the Clippers presents even more bettor-friendly data for those playing the over on KCP’s points total.

In the last ten games, the opponents starting Shooting Guards have averaged 3.3 free throw attempts per game, the fifth highest mark in the league. Caldwell-Pope has an impressive 86.8% conversion rate on free throws when playing at home this season, and he should be able to score at least eight points in this contest to cover the over.

Davion Mitchell 2+ Three-Pointers (+110)

Davion Mitchell has been a very positive addition since being acquired by the Miami Heat at the trade deadline. In his 23 games with Miami, Mitchell is averaging 9.6 points, 4.9 assists, and 1.2 steals on an impressive 50.3% field goals and 46.4% from three-point range. Mitchell has quickly earned the trust of Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra, playing nearly 32 minutes per game since joining Miami, and is becoming a regular in the closing lineup.

Mitchell has certainly been getting up the three-balls as of late, attempting 3.6 three-pointers per game, making 50% of those attempts. The Heat are on the road tonight in Washington against a Wizards team that ranks dead last in points per game allowed (120.9) and allows opponents to attempt over 39 three-point field goals per game with a 36.8% conversion rate. Mitchell is set up well for another nice performance on the offensive end this evening.

Zach Lavine Over 20.5 Points (-120)

Coming off a quiet 10-point outing vs. the Magic on Saturday, Zach Lavine is set up for a potentially big scoring night this evening vs. an Indiana Pacers team that likes to get up and down the court. Indiana plays at the seventh-fastest pace of any team in the NBA, and brings a very pedestrian 16th-ranked defense to the table.

Although Lavine attempted just eight field goals on Saturday vs. the Magic, he had taken at least 16 shots in each of his four prior games. Lavine is averaging 31.5 points per game vs. the Pacers this season (2 games), so he has certainly found this matchup to be friendly and will look to have another big scoring game this evening.
